Operators are instructed to refer to the safety labels on their equipment to answer operation questions and ensure safe operation. Therefore, it is especially important to be sure the labels on your equipment are legible and able to be read by operators. Check equipment labels and make sure they aren’t torn, smudged, dirty, or faded. If they exhibit any of these issues and the text is not able to be clearly read, then contact your service provider immediately to give you replacement labels for that piece of equipment. If labels are not replaced and remain illegible, it could end up as a liability issue for you if an accident occurs as a result of improper equipment operation. To ensure safe operation, provide clear directions to operators by keeping up with the safety labels on your equipment.
