Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer training for any individuals?
No, we do not offer training to individuals seeking certification on their own. All training must be coordinated through a business or organization sponsor. Only employees enrolled and approved by their employer are eligible to participate in our training programs.
How do I sign up a group of employees for online training?
The first step is to contact TrainMOR directly. We will guide you through the entire process to ensure your group of employees is signed up for their training courses. Call us at 616.557.7555 or contact us online.
Will I automatically be certified after passing the online training course?
No, you will not automatically be professionally certified only after completing the online course. To obtain a valid, legal permit, you must complete both the classroom (online) instruction and hands-on training.
Is hands-on training required with the online training courses?
Yes! In order for you to receive a valid, legal permit, you must have both classroom (online) instruction and hands-on training. Your hands-on training must be both truck and site-specific (using a truck that you would use to do your job, on the shop floor).
What will I receive after I complete the online training course?
After completing the course, you will be able to print off your completion certificate and/or e-mail it to the appropriate person in your company. Your company will also receive a wallet card, sent via a secure mail. Your employer must approve and sign the wallet card after hands-on training is complete.
How long do employees have to complete their course after enrollment?
Students may complete the course at their own pace, as there is no time limit. If you need to step away during training, you can simply log back in and resume the course at any time.
What if I fail online training?
Students will be required to retake the chapter questions until a score of 100% is achieved. This approach ensures that each concept is fully understood before moving on, providing both the student and their employer with the confidence that all material has been successfully mastered. There is no failing!
When will my certification expire?
Certifications are valid for three years from the course start date. After this period, retraining is required to maintain compliance and ensure knowledge remains current.
